Are you READY????

...as I said earlier we had our ultrasound this morning! The baby looks great and is right on track for growth, a little small but not enough to change the due date! Chris and I took Skylar along so that she could see her new baby brother or sister and maybe it will make this all more of a reality for her. As the ultrasound tech was scanning the body Skylar kept saying "A fishy" and of course what would we call a fishy but nemo!
Lucky for us though it really is a baby and not a fishy....in fact it is a little baby GIRL! We are very excited that we will be welcoming another precious (& I am sure dramatic) little girl into our family. I am so excited for Skylar to have a sister. I know that I am so close to my sister I don't know what I would do without her and I look forward to Skylar and baby girl having that cherished relationship too!
I am having issues with my scanner so I will have to post a picture later. We actually have another ultrasound on Oct. 2 because baby girl was stubborn and did not want them to get a picture of her profile. So hopefully we will have a better picture for you all then!!!

Tomorrow is the big day....

....tomorrow is our 20 week ultrasound! We are very excited to find out if baby Hansen is a boy or a girl!!!! Stay tuned............

Blue Eyes

I just love Skylar's eyes, they are so blue! I think those beautiful blue eyes might be a disadvantage for her daddy as she gets older!!!

HOw to Reason with a toddler....

...this comes from the lost chronicles of dealing with toddlers (according to Chris).

Yesterday morning as I was getting ready for church I heard Chris and Skylar having a bit of a disagreement over her getting dressed. When something is not her idea she will either yell "no, no, no" and stomp her feet OR she will just scream at the top of her lungs as she thrashes around on the floor. (The joys of a 20 month old, right?) So I think yesterday Skylar was doing a little of both, then above her yelling I hear: "Skylar you are getting dressed because I am the boss and I said so!"

For the record Chris' tactics did not work quite as he would have liked, but it was a very cute moment!

Way to go Yonni!!!

More big news...It is official...Haley and Courtney are ENGAGED!!! Thats right, he popped the question today! We are all so excited! Welcome to the family Ya-Ya :)
