Cousin Heidi and her husband Martin will be parents tomorrow, YEAH! Heidi is going in to be induced tomorrow morning at 6am, so hopefully everything goes well and little Parker Tichy will arrive tomorrow. Please keep Heidi and Martin in your prayers tomorrow!

Happy 26th Birthday Sara!!!





Last night we celebrated our cousin Sara's 26th birthday! It is always wonderful to spend time with Sara and Jared when they are home. The party was so much fun..it is great to spend time with family and enjoy each other's company. A big thank you to Cari and Ryan for throwing a great party...Thanks for having us!!

my little sister Ali is such a great Auntie...she is awesome with Skylar! Ali spent last weekend at Caberfaye with us and was a big help with Skylar, she even does diapers!!!

O poor puppies!!

I just had to show you all how pathetic my puppies look....ever since Chris and I decided they are not allowed in our bed they have mastered the sad 'poor me' eyes...well actually they have been quite good at it for a while but the look gets me every time, I am such a sucker!!

6 weeks old

Well the last six weeks have flown by. Skylar is doing great and growing bigger everyday! For the most part she is still a happy baby, she does have occasional fussiness over a good burp or the hic-ups. She has her moments where she just wants to be cuddled and other times she just wants to sprawl out on her own!
Chris has already started training her for her future of skiing, they have nightly sessions and he explains the techniques of skiing the 'bumps' and doing aerieal tricks. She really does seem to enjoy these little lessons, if she is cranky it calms her right down. So he says she is definietly going to ski and WILL not be a snowboarder, but we'll see she may want to be just like her mom!
She is on the verge of smiling...Well she has been smiling for a while but it usually followed by a little surprise. So we are waiting on the real deal smiles, there have been several 'almosts'. So I think that with in no time she will be smiling and not because of gas but because she is REALLY smiling. I can't wait:)
Every day is amazing and is truly a gift, Chris and I have been so blessed in our journey through parenthood so far and we look forward to all the incredible moments that we will encounter in the future.

My dear friend Heidi, who is a pilot in the Air Force, is off on another adventure. (I enjoy living through all her adventures and thought you all might enjoy it too) She is taking part in the United States Air Force 7 Summits Challenge, this challenge is for Air Force members to climb the highest mountains on each continnent and put the air force flag at the summit and as they take on these mountains they are raising money for charity.
She is currently in Argentina, South America embarking on a 3 week trip to climb Mt.Aconcagua. My big brothers Buster & Bruiser are so great to me. They are always concerned with what mom and dad are doing to me and if I am ok. They also like to give kisses, lots of kisses. I can't wait till I am big enough to play with them!

Sometimes mom will not put her camera down...Dad warned me about that thing but I didn't think he was serious! But no joke she has it out all the time, sometimes I think it is permanent part of her body. I can't wait till I am big enough to plY with the camera and we'll see how mom likes it :)

Weekend Fun!





We had a great weekend at Caberfaye...Our friends Amanda & Shane and their daughter Reagan, and Meghan & Jason and their son Mac spent the weekend up north with us. Both Mac and Reagan gave Skylar lots of love and kisses. Reagan always wanted to rock the baby and wipe her mouth, it was so cute. Mac liked Skylar but she can't hold a candle to 'WONKA'!!!!
Hales came up too...she took Carla out snowboarding...I think they spent more time off their feet then on but they had a good time anyhow!!!!

1 month old


Well the last month has been great! Skylar is growing like a weed and she is still the sweetest baby in the world. She is such a joy! The whole parenting expirience is amazing, everyday is such a gift!!
Her favorites are still sleeping and eating but in addition to those activities she loves to sit in her swing, she likes to lay under her baby einstein activity gym, and she likes looking in mirrors (yup she is definetily a girl). And of course she enjoys her puppy time...the dogs absolutly love her, and she loves their doggy kisses!

I am loving bath time now...It is so relaxing lounging in a tub of bubbles! :)

On Wednesday afternoon we a play date with Ruby & Tommy Becker...Tommy (14 weeks older than Skylar) could possibly be Skylar's future boyfriend (if Chris ever let's her date). We had a great time, Ruby helped take care of Skylar and showed off some of her dance moves and Tommy seemed to like Skylar too! Thanks for a great time Sarah, Ruby & Tommy, we will do it again soon!! :)

Winter Wedding Wish Granted!

Well Steph wanted snow and I think she prayed a little too hard...Congratulations to Dave & Steph! The winter wedding (in the middle of a blizzard) was beautiful. We had a great time with all of our friends and catching up with those we don't see as often as we would like.
It was also our first night out without Skylar...she didn't mind though she got to spend the evening with Grandpa Mueller and Aunt Ali. She had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again...
